ANALYSIS
Soul Eater, Kireek's signature scythe, is an extremely useful weapon at lower levels. The baseline model you can acquire from the Guild Quests offline will be extremely powerful in Normal through Very Hard. Since that version does not have Hit%, it will be less dependable in Ultimate, especially online.
Acquiring a Soul Eater with Hit% from the Server can be useful, especially for Fonewm and Fonewearl, who cannot equip Soul Banish, giving them access to a multi-target weapon with a sacrificial special.

Guild Counter Questline
Soul Eater can be acquired offline by completing certain tasks in the Guild Quests. The quests must be completed in a certain order; if a quest isn't available in your list, you may need to open up another zone, or complete an earlier quest to make it available. You can earn the Soul Eater once per each difficulty level.
WARNING: If you choose the path to acquire the Soul Eater, you will not be able to follow the "True Story" path to see the best ending of "Seat of the Heart" and receive the Ragol Ring. It's recommended to use Normal Mode to acquire the Soul Eater, since it will be most useful early, and leave the True Story path open to pursue in Ultimate difficulty.
- At the end of Dr. Osto's Research, choose "NO" when Sue asks you to tell her your name.
- In Unsealed Door, talk to Sue in Mines 2.
- in Waterfall Tears, defeat Anna in Caves 2, continue through the map until you find and battle Kireek.
- In Black Paper, find Kireek in a darkened out room in Caves 1. Win the battle then finish the rest of the quest.
- In From the Depths, guide Ash to the control panel in Ruins 3. He will depart to search for more survivors. Return to Ruins 2 and find Kireek. Defeat him one last time and you will receive the Soul Eater
Make sure you have a space open in your inventory. If you are having trouble finding the NPCs during a quest, use the Area Map in you Inventory screen and zoom out. The NPCs will show up as "player indicators" on the map.
Seasonal Exchange Reward
A Soul Eater with 30% Hit was available as an exchange reward during the 2023 Halloween Exchange for 10 Candy
