== CELL MAGS ==
These Mags were added to the Mag roster in PSO Episode 1 & 2. They require a combination of Character Class, Section ID, and Mag stat balancing in order to evolve into these forms. The Mag will first check for these requirements when it reaches Level 100, and then every 10 levels thereafter. Once a Mag has evolved into a Fourth Evolution form. it can not evolve into any other form.
Cell Mags are a Fourth Evolution mag evolved by using another item collectively called a Mag Cell (after the original batch from Version 1 on DC). If the equipped Mag meets the Cell requirements, then the USE option will be available in the Item menu. Once used, the Mag evolves into the new form, and the Cell is consumed. Mag Cells are dropped by the Hallo Rappy or Saint Rappy during their respective seasonal events.  


All Cell Mags use Feeding Chart 7, which has the best gains of all feeding charts.  
There are three Mag Stat formulas that could be required in order to become a Fourth Evolution Mag:

===Level 0 'Baby Mags'===
These mags are similar to the stock versions of Varuna, Kalki, and Mitra, but without the initial 5 DEF points. They transform into other Evolution stages as they level, can come in a variety of colors, and can evolve into the 4th Evolution Formula or Cell Mags.

Below is a list of all Mags available in Phantasy Star Online Episode 1 & 2 on the GC/X-Box

MAG INFORMATION

Feeding

The Feeding Timer runs for every Mag you are carrying in your Character's inventory. The Mag doesn't need to be equipped in order to feed it.

The Timer starts after you feed the Mag the first item. You have until the timer resets again in order to fit in a second and third item. If you do not feed the Mag a second or third item before the timer resets, then you miss out on those feeds.

MAG FEEDING CHARTS

Triggered Abilities

Mags have abilities that are triggered whenever three conditions happen:

Photon Burst Bar reaches 100%

Character rapidly reaches 1/10th of their HP from damage or abilities

Entering a Boss Room


Each Mag has a Trigger%

These are the Mags that are available in all versions of Episode 1 & 2.

First Evolution Mags

The first evolution of a Mag happens when it reaches Level 10. The evolution is determined by the Character Class holding the Mag as it levels.

These Mags were added to the Mag roster in PSO Episode 1 & 2. They require a combination of Character Class, Section ID, and Mag stat balancing in order to evolve into these forms. The Mag will first check for these requirements when it reaches Level 100, and then every 10 levels thereafter. Once a Mag has evolved into a Fourth Evolution form. it can not evolve into any other form.

There are three Mag Stat formulas that could be required in order to become a Fourth Evolution Mag:

Because a Mag cannot be evolved again after it turns into a Fourth Evolution, it's important to plan ahead for the Evolution you want to acquire, and make sure you don't accidently make the wrong one.

Cell Mags

Cell Mags are a Fourth Evolution mag evolved by using another item collectively called a Mag Cell (after the original batch from Version 1 on DC). If the equipped Mag meets the Cell requirements, then the USE option will be available in the Item menu. Once used, the Mag evolves into the new form, and the Cell is consumed. Mag Cells can be found in Jack O Lanterns or Christmas Presents dropped by the Hallo Rappy or Saint Rappy during their respective seasonal events.

All Cell Mags use Feeding Chart #7, which has the best gains of all feeding charts.

SCHTSERV SERVER EXCLUSIVE 'LEVEL 0' MAGS

Level 0 Mags are a special type of Mag that does not have the default 5 Points of DEFENSE that standard Mags do. This gives you slightly more room for customizing the final Mag stats, but a little room can go a long away, especially for some classes. They are pre-loaded with three set Photon Blasts.

Other special features include Mags that are not available by other means, or Cell Mags without their restrictive requirements.

Level 0 'Baby Mags'

These mags are similar to the stock versions of Varuna, Kalki, and Mitra, but without the initial 5 DEF points. They transform into other Evolution stages as they level, can come in a variety of colors, and can evolve into the 4th Evolution Formula or Cell Mags.

Baby Mags are currently the only Level 0 Mags that are available as a drop in two different Special Events.
