The Photon Cube

The Photon Cube is a Schtserv Exclusive item that is required to unlock several enhanced Equipment Conversion features on the Server. It is stored Server Side only and is linked to your Guild Card Number. The Photon Cube requires a certain amount of 'Charge' to use, depending on the item you desire to create. The Cube charges in REAL TIME, not in-game time or Beat time, which is tracked by the Server.

Owning the Photon Cube opens up several Advanced Conversion features in the quest 'The Photon Lab'.

FINDING THE PHOTON CUBE

The Photon Cube can be randomly discovered as a side quest while playing the Server quest 'The Eternal'. At the beginning of the quest, before departing for the surface, find Dr. Montague in the The Lab and talk to him. Agree to his terms and you will then have a chance of finding the Cube as you work your way through the quest. (You MUST talk to Montague to begin the side quest!!)

Once you begin to climb the Control Tower, you will face an enhanced 'Mini-Boss' every 10th Floor. After defeating the Mini-Boss, there is a chance that you will find the Photon Cube. The odds are as follows:

• 10th Floor: 1% Chance
• 20th Floor: 3% Chance
• 30th Floor: 5% Chance
• 40th Floor: 7% Chance
• 50th Floor: 10% Chance

A cut scene will play immediately after defeating the Mini-Boss when you discover the Cube. There will also be a Server Announcement message and a notification in the Discord channel #rare_drops to acknowledge your triumph. After finding the Cube, remember to go back and share the information with Dr. Montague.
